blog, location-centered

northbound

Driving north of the city to hit the coastline to swing west and back down. Landscapes empty except for camels grazing leisurely roadside. We stopped at Al Zubarah Fort, a national historic site of Qatar. The tide was out, the highway mostly carless, the sky clear with a sun desperately trying to break through the thick clouds. Road trip inspired by Time Out Doha’s recent cover story, “Best Road Trips in Qatar“.
